NeuralStackTesla started deploying Full Self-Driving version 13 on July 15 2026. The update reached 1.4 million vehicles in the first 48 hours. It relies entirely on end-to-end neural networks without rule-based code for city driving.
The version achieves 0.8 interventions per 1000 miles in internal testing. Tesla claims a 3 times reduction in disengagements compared with v12. Rollout continues through August 2026.
Version 13 was trained on 1.8 billion miles of real-world video. The company removed all explicit traffic light and stop sign logic from the stack.
Regulators in California and Texas have requested additional safety data. Tesla plans to submit a report by July 31.
